With my diverse background in business and multicultural experience, I facilitate and lead effective English-Japanese communication for startups, individual projects, small to mid-sized teams, and organizations, as well as business negotiations. Conflicts can only be resolved by approaching relationships thoughtfully, carefully untangling issues, and crafting communication that respects each other's "narratives." Ultimate Rap Avenger's Night （クラブイベント）音楽の仕事。ラップイベントを裏で支える。特に彼女達（20代）が苦手な契約やお金まわりの管理。契約の数や支払いのパターンがいくつもあり、かなり煩雑。当日もお祭り騒ぎの裏でコツコツと。当然、税金の対応も。 Music work. Back stage support for a rap event. Helped them (in their 20s) manage contracts and payments (on the event day too) which were actually pretty complex. And not to forget tax.

Bandai Namco Group （バンダイナムコグループ）バンダイナムコグループの「GYAAR Studioインディーゲームコンテスト」で受賞したクリエイターとそのゲームが世界へ挑戦！そのコミュニケーションをサポートしました。クリエイターの熱い思いをどう世界に伝えるか、ポイントは言語より伝え方。 Winners of the Bandai Namco Group "GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest" and their games challenge the world! It was my great pleasure to support their communication. It's more than just language that conveys their passion.

Supercell（ゲーム会社）スーパーセルリアン（スーパーセルの社員）とそのセル（チーム）、オフィス、そして美しい国フィンランドを訪れるのは、いつもワクワクします。トナカイ・ステーキとサウナも最高でした！ It's always exciting to meet Supercellians (employees of Supercell) and their cells (teams), visit their office and their lovely country Finland, plus reindeer steak and sauna to make the trip complete!

Give4Hope（ギブフォホープ）思いやりを広めるため「Give4Hope」というプロジェクトを立ち上げた。具体的なサービスを企画・開発する間、その裏のナラティブをnoteへ定期的に書くことにした。 I started a project called "Give4Hope" to spread 思いやり ("Omoi-Yari" a Japanese word for thoughtfulness). While we plan and develop the service, I will write to substack the narrative behind it periodically.

Construction (Da Nang, Vietnam) 建築（ベトナム・ダナン）若い日本の建築家チームが海外へチャレンジ！言語だけでなく文化や風習が違うベトナムは私にとっても初めて。ハワイの時と同じくまずローカルと仲良く！ A young team of Japanese architects is willing to challenge the world! Vietnam is very different from Japan not only with language, but also culture and custom. Just how I started in Hawaii, it's the "locals" that we need to connect first.

Embassy of the Netherlands （駐日オランダ王国大使館）京都で行われた「ビットサミット」を機に、オランダのインディー・ゲームを日本に紹介。オランダ駐日大使館主催の業界イベントで、MC兼通訳を担当。いかに言語以上のもの（熱意）を伝えるか。 At BitSummit Kyoto, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Japan hosted a business event to introduce indie games from the Netherlands to Japan. As MC and interpreter, it was more than just the language that had to be conveyed; their "passion".

Sushi Jugemu（寿司レストラン）知人が米国で寿司レストランを開業。繁盛していたがローカル従業員とのコミュニケーションに苦戦。海外（多民族）の起業には経営理念とその実現方法を日本（同一民族）以上に丁寧に理解してもらう努力をする必要がある。この思いやりこそがどんな文化にも通用する真のチームビルディング（信用）である。 A friend opened a successful sushi restaurant in New Jersey, USA, but management (Japanese) faces communication challenges with local American employees due to cultural differences. To resolve this, it's crucial to explain the business's mission and goals in a more detailed and empathetic manner than when operating in Japan, an ethically homogeneous country. Sincerity and empathy are universal keys to effective team building and trust in any cultural context.

Colorkrew Inc.（IT企業）開発チームが多国籍化、全社的な英語力の底上げを依頼される。会議中、日本人が無言で考え込むシーンによく出くわす。聞き取れない、どう言えばいいのか分からないためだ。リスニング：全体の抑揚を掴むこと＋スピーキング大事なことから短文で滑舌良く伝える。経験から来る「独自のメソッド」が効果を発揮する。 An IT company in Japan. As their development team becomes more racially diverse, they seek advice in improving their company's English performance. In meetings with international colleagues, the Japanese would often keep silent due to difficulties in understanding and responding effectively. English is spoken in 'rhythms' that do not exist in the Japanese language. Listening involves capturing the rhythms while speaking should rely on simple and short sentences with clear articulation. This 'unique and practical method' of improving English comes from my own experience.

ソニーを退社後、東京クラブシーンでの下積みを経て、米国ロサンジェルスで音楽事務所ULTRA Q Corporationを起業。東京でプロデュースした「DJ：KO KIMURA x 現代美術家：中山ダイスケ」のチャリティ・イベントは2,000人強の観客を魅了。LAではKelly Clarkson（歌手、グラミー賞3冠）とステージを共にしたドラマー：Paul Allenと挑戦した新しいサウンド「生ドラム x テクノ」が地元のインディーズ・シーンで注目を浴び、それは安室奈美恵のギタリスト：大村真司と始めたロック x テクノバンド「Fakestate」の結成に繋がり、そのデビュー曲がテレビゲームのPV楽曲に大抜擢。

After leaving Sony, I started ULTRA Q Corporation in Los Angeles, USA. In Tokyo, I organized a successful 2,0000+ charity event with DJ Ko Kimura and artist Daisuke Nakayama. In LA, I blended "live drums" and "techno" with drummer Paul Allen who has shared the same stage with Kelly Clarkson, gaining attention in the local indie scene. This led to forming a "rock x techno" band Fakestate with Amuro Namie's guitarist Shinji Ohmura and their debut single was featured in a video game promotion.

2002-

大学卒業後、ソニー株式会社に入社。海外営業部GA（ジェネラル・オーディオ）グループで、海外のオペレーションに従事。社内ベンチャーに抜擢され、新規事業「ソニーリンク」に参画。ソニーがテレマーケティング会社大手のベルシステム24と立ち上げ、e-commerceの先駆けとなったJV。海外のVictoria's Secret社をはじめとする各種通販会社への注文を一括して日本語で受け付ける利便性の高いサービス。その海外通販会社50社以上の誘致を達成。飛び込み営業から契約締結、グローバル・コールセンターの運用まであらゆるコミュニケーションを担った。

After college, I joined Sony Corporation in their overseas sales department. I was chosen for an internal venture called "Sony Linc," which was a groundbreaking e-commerce collaboration between Sony and a major telecom company. The service consolidated orders for over 50 global mail-order companies, including giants like Victoria's Secret, and I managed all aspects of communication from outreach, contract negotiations, and a bilingual call center.

デジタルとオンラインに可能性を感じ、株式会社ソニー・コンピュータ（現在：インタラクティブ）エンタテインメントに入社。制作トップへ「ゲーミフィケーションを使った新しいエンタメが作りたい」と、外国語を遊びながら世界の人と繋がるゲーム「TALKMAN」のアイディアを直談判。それはPlayStation Portable専用ゲームとして、全世界で販売され、実売400,000本を超える大ヒットになる。

米国GoogleからAndroid Market Place（AMP、現在：Google Play）にゲームを提供する協力要請があり、その対応に本社（商品企画部）へ異動。業界の違いから交渉が難航する中、同時期に企画していたPlayStation Vitaとソニー製Android端末Xperiaの両プラットフォームで遊べる「PlayStation Mobile」ゲームをAMPへ提供することに成功した。

I joined Sony Computer (now Interactive) Entertainment Inc., where I pitched and successfully launched "TALKMAN" a game you play with foreign languages using voice recognition. It became a global hit with over 400,000 units sold for PlayStation Portable.

I later, at Headquarters, worked on providing games for Android Market Place (now, Google Play) and successfully introduced "PlayStation Mobile" games for both PlayStation Vita and Sony's Xperia (Android devices), bridging the industry gap.

米国ハワイで「新しい形のホテルとツアーを通して世界の人に人生を変える体験をさせたい」という壮大な夢：STARHOUSEの実現に参加。

ホテルのリノベーションやツアーの企画が具体化するに連れ、価値観の違いから現地の人達との乖離が目立ち始め、プロジェクトは座礁に乗り上げる。彼らとの接し方を改め、現場の雑工を手伝ったり、農園の清掃をボランティアしたりすることで、徐々に距離が縮まり、彼らが最も大事にしている「Aloha精神」に触れることができ、彼らとのキャンプを通して、自然や地球への意識も変わり、これこそが「人生を変える体験」だと気付き、方針転換を試みる。ビジネスは数字だけではないことを実感。

In Hawaii, there was a grand dream of changing people's lives through a unique hotel and tour experience - STARHOUSE. As the hotel renovations and tour plans progressed, differences in values caused a disconnect with the local community, leading to a project standstill. By changing our attitude and engaging with the locals through humble volunteer work, we finally embraced their true Aloha spirit. This was indeed the life-changing experience we were looking for, emphasizing that business is more than just numbers.

私は20年以上、様々な形で「人を楽しませる」仕事に関わってきました。音楽やゲームはもちろん、家電や通販、旅行、教育、外食まで、全てが人を楽しませることでした。人はその商品やサービスの裏にある「物語」（ナラティブ）を楽しんでいます。ナラティブのない商品やサービスは売れません。

ナラティブとは、その商品やサービスが作られる過程で行われる様々な「コミュニケーションの結晶」です。人と人が日々コミュニケーションを交わすことで、商品やサービスは生まれます。似たものがマーケットに乱立する中、このナラティブこそ、その商品やサービスにしかない魅力になります。私は、特に海外とのコミュニケーションをサポートすることで、他との差異化になる魅力：「ナラティブ」を商品やサービスに注入し、海外でも売れるものにするお手伝いをします。

海外とのコミュニケーションと聞くと、まず英語力を想像すると思いますが、言語は道具でしかありません。もちろん道具は上手に使えた方が良いですが、より重要なのはそれを使って「何を伝えるか」です。スピーチやプレゼン、商談に限らず、日々のコミュニケーションにおいても、伝えたい要点（本質）を簡潔にまとめ、世界の誰にでも理解できるように、分かりやすく説明できる日本人はとても少ないです。海外で日本人の存在感が薄いのもこのせいです。
